There is just doing.

Bruce Springsteen gave the keynote address at SXSW recently. I'm not a huge Springsteen fan, but I appreciate what he does and I once saw him surprise a live audience at a Rosanne Cash show. No one loves Bruce Springsteen like a horde of women between the ages of 40 and 60. No one.

Moving along. The address is about an hour long, and might be too much to give an hour of your time to. I listened to it this past Sunday while I cooked so it was the perfect time. There are plenty of quotable moments. The singalong of This Land is Your Land will remind you of why Woody Guthrie is still so important to so many. My favorite quote is also a favorite of the journalist writing the story:

"The purity of human expression and experience is not confined to guitars, to tubes, to turntables, to microchips," said Springsteen. "There is no right way, no pure way, of doing. There is just doing."

Preach it, Bruce!
