It's been awhile! Below you can see a bunch of snaps from
everything up until this past weekend. Those snaps are coming tomorrow.
We celebrated two birthdays, watched 4th of July firewords and shared several long, relaxing
meals with friends.
I made a red velvet birthday cake for Andy's
step-father's birthday, at his request. It turned out pretty well, red
velvet was definitely more challenging than other cakes. Try that
Shakerato if you like iced coffee but are annoyed when it gets watered down (so....everyone).
Having a house guest with a dog is literally the best thing on Earth. We'll talk more about the chocolate almond cake at a later date, it's from this cookbook. It's delicious and light.
It's been crazy at work, but soon I'll be at a girl's weekend with the best friends ever and then in Vermont with family. So, hanging in there! Hope you are too.
