Vermont

We spent an extended weekend in Vermont mid-July, and it was just what I needed. Lots of beers, chats, kayaks, and more than enough relaxation. Came back feeling a little hazy about this whole "work week" stuff, but am happily back in the swing of things now.

A summer isn't complete...

without the annual family vacation to the Outer Banks. We first came down in 84' and have only missed a few years since. The vacation has come to an end and the Sunday Blues are here. One last snap to help me transition back to a life that includes work and does not include the beach.

Heart Shaped Weekend

It was a really great weekend, topped off by a little heart shaped apple slice as a midnight (at 9 pm) snack.

Moving Along

I had never run this far before. After a challenging day, it was nice to be reminded that the world is a pretty lovely place. -- D
